I just did my first oil change, and I notice the smell of burnt oil when I run the truck ever since. No leaks can be seen, and everything is dry Does anyone have a clue to where this is coming from?

Don't drain any oil because of the smell!!!
Just so happens that you selected the smelliest of all the oils (IMO).
What you are smelling is perfectly normal. The Duramax vents crankcase to atmosphere. It's not a closed system. The crankcase vapors do not route to the intake like many other engines.
The smell should go away (or you will get used to it) in less than 1000 miles.
This only applies to the smell after an oil change. If you have the smell for other reasons, all bets are off.
