A truck stop in Chelsea Massachusetts is selling biodiesel. Anybody use this in their D-max?

I used Soy from one of the local fuel stops. The only problem I had was the smell... I've been around diesels since I was five years old, and well, I love the smell of good 'ol diesel smoke!!! Other than that, according to the a$$ dyno, the power was the same, and the fuel mileage fell into the high side of the average I've been at this summer.

I'll try it again if it's convenient. Our fine Minnesota legislature  is making it state law for all diesel to contain soy oil, so in 2004, we'll have no choice. Whether it'll be a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen.

Hey Diesel-Lawyer, where in Chelsea? What are they selling it for? Might have to swing in on my way home from the Fed!

SoMNDMAX, where in MN are you?

It's like ethanol. Minnesota mandated ethanol blend in the winter to combat air pollution. Guess what. The mandate is for 7.8% blend max. Once summer rolls around the blend goes to 10%!!!
