My 03 Duramax has 17000 mi on it. I have been having some slight problems at highway speeds around 78 mi/hr. The engine starts to "miss" a little bit. Almost like it is starving for fuel. I change the filter every 7500 mi. Today I ran with the OD off to get the RPMs up and it started doing it at about 2700 (65 mph).I know we don't usually run at this high of RPMs but it is still within spec. I don't have a check engine light so my stealer won't look at it. The claim that this in "normal" for diesel engines. An advice?
