Comparing the D/Max..........

I own a 2001 D/Max 2500.Getting ready to upgrade to a 2004 C4500 128" wheelbase with a towbody for a 5th wheel.I will be getting the upgraded D/Max(300 hp vs the 210 model).Is this the same engine as my '01'?Thanks,JB6600. :confused:

As far as I know power specs on the 2001-2003 Dmax's are the same (300HP, 520ftlb). There is also speculation that power will increase in the mid-04's along with some other changes - i.e. redesigned head for easier injector R&R. See the following thread for more info:
