View Full Version : Hit 20 mpg.
I took a 428 miles one way.... all highway and cruise.
A little cheating.. I ran lp much of the time and am using Stanadyne performance.
Check my math....
400 miles
20.6 gal
33" tires....... 7% ????
400 x 1.07 = 428
428 / 20.6 = 20.77 mpg
Maybe since I was going south being all downhill? ;)

To make sure you did, you need to go North for at least that distance :D
I got 14.9 for my second tank in a row yesterday. All stop and go, city driving with 40HP Pred and Level 2 hot juice most of the time. Been really light footing it as much as possible just to see what it would get.
The strange thing is, my DIC average was exactly correct both times. I didnt think it would be accurate anymore with the two boxes on board.

Some of the best fishing in the world! The kids used to surf cast off the beach near our site and catch all kinds of stuff
I recently got 20.73 mpg running 75 mph on cruise for 400 miles.

Great MPG!!!
My best was 21.8 calculated not by the DIC, but I was trying for high mpg 65-70 mph, no normal lead foot. Wife asked if I was feeling OK :D
