I saw on Trucks! the other day that bullydog has new "performance injectors" for the dmax. I checked their web sight and couldn't find anything. Anyone? Anyone?

I dont remember who offers them but I have seen them for 1200 per set. They are reworked cores. Hard to judge how good they are and if they are replacing or remaning the seats etc. Guess we need a guinea pig...

I wonder how well the injectors are matched. Are they bench flow tested or just extrude honed for a set period of time. Or I guess best case extruded and flow matched. Or better yet a new nozzle

The test equipment is hitting the fuel shops as we speak, so at least NOW there is a way to test them.

If an engine runs perfectly fine on a set of injectors that vary in delivery by 20% then adding a fixed percentage of flow WILL show a performance gain, BUT is it RIGHT?

The sub standards may be brought back to std and the stds to a point above std.

The only practical way I see it is to build and TEST to that all give 100mm3 withing a SMALL percentage window of say 2% with a given command etc. I seriously doubt that this will happen with used nozzles.

Oh yeah, extruding them more to bring the flow up to par is NOT the answer...

It will be a while, but I'll have a set in my truck and a set of used to test.
