first diesel????

Hey,
I have never had a diesel before, but this has really open my eyes. Its a big difference from my 1500HD. Well my question is on maintaining it the right way? I have already done a oil change(castol) and added a k&n air filter. I also put on a dynomax pipe(system). It seems to run a bit better. I don't want to go crazy with it at this point till I get the feel for it. Any feed back would great.

Just my two cents worth but i would recommend an oil made for diesel engines, like delo 400, rotella, amsoil, or mobil delvac. these oils are formulated for today's low sulfer engine fuel. Most of these will run cleaner for longer oil drain periods... Good luck with the new truck you will love it...
