Front Bra/ Apron

Hey Guys,
How does the warming apron( the front bra that comes with the truck) attach to the front end of the 02 d/a cc? Also is it ok to run it with the apron all winter long??? :confused:

I have the 2001 and both pieces attach with bendable clips that you bend around the edges of the bumper. The grill piece has snaps that install on the plastic rivets that are under the hood, there are 4 I believe. I put mine on in November, and take off the grill portion for those few November days that get into the 60's. I don't generally tow in the winter, if I did I would remove both pieces (Engine temperature doesn't tell you what the innercooler temp is). I have found it is easier to install if I wash the pieces in hot water (right in the washing machine for best results). That makes them more pliable, but you have to work fast. I believe the covers get me about 1 MPG more, but the big reason is to help warm the engine better.
