change oil light

The change oil light came on the SES. I had about 3400miles since last change. Everytime I turn the enging on it comes on and then goes off after a few seconds. Any ideas how to get the message off? (yes, I changed my oil)

Turn the key on, then step on the throttle 3 times to the floor and turn the key off. It should reset at that time.

Turn the key on and push the throttle all the way to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds. Don't turn the key off, just leave it on and the Change oil light should start blinking 4 or 5 times and this means it is reset.
