fuel addatives and fumoto valve

Where can I find a fumoto valve? Fuel addatives in the DMAX. In my 93 6.5 I have always ran some type of fuel enhancer ,120000 miles on factory injectors pump etc,. Don't want to screw up my new DMAX by something I did..

I would check with Kennedy Diesel for the Fumoto valve. I have the nipple style it works great. I just, attach a hose and drain into a 5gal pal. I just finished a Cetane additive comparison between Synergyn 20+ Cetane boost from Synergyn Racing and Amsoil Cetane boost. The comparison was done between three rigs. Two were Dmax's and one was a Pstroke. We all concurred not much could be determined by the seat of pants performance between the two additives. I noted about a half a MPG better with the Synergyn 20+. Which is not really provable, I can't mach the exact driving conditions. Cetane alone isn't going to cut it. I like to use a well rounded do it all additive like FPPF Total Power. I then "spike" this with a bunch of 8+ Cetane improver and dispense at 1.5x recommended ratio from a squeeze up bottle from Sta-Bil.

Points to consider in an additive:

Water removal/dispersant
Lubricity improver
Cetane improver
Stabilizer
Injection system cleaner
Decarbonizer
Pour point/waxing suppressant

The cold weather stuff is not necessary for some, but also will not hurt anyone, and if cold weather hits or you travel to a colder climate...

I use John's FPPF at1.5. While seat of the pants, I do see a difference - engine is quieter, performance seems better, and economy is up slightly. Once we have the results back from my fuel, I will probably make some other adjustments.

Started using this with my 1st fill up so don't have any comparative figures. First 2 tanks are both just above 20mpg, with about 95% of the exact same route for each tank and conservative driving style both times.

(added note: 50% freeway at 65 mph, 45% highway at 55mph, 5% city)

Not sure of the exact amounts used, but I'd guess the quality of the additives is very high.
