Have'nt posted in a while.. just been reading and enjoying.
Yesterday went and traded my 02 2500HD for a brand new shiny black GMC 3500. Could'nt pass up the great deals that are being offered right now. Dealer came off the sticker 6K with little prompting. ( of course it didnt hurt that I had a quote from a rival Chevy dealer where my cousin just happens to be the sales manager!). They made me a good deal and let me strip off all of my add ons from the old truck.
My question is what size tires are most of you 3500 folks running and what did you have to do to get the truck leveled. I was looking at Mackins truck, but I didnt see a tire size. Thanks, Larry ;)

I'm running BFG A/T 235-85-16s. I got the 4 Hill 2.5" leveling cams to raise the front up to match the rear. The rear is still higher when unloaded, but I don't think you can go much more than 2.5" - 3" in the front without additional hardware.

Congrats on the '03, btw!

Thanks Guys,
Ive never owned a dually before. Hope the learning curve is short..cant afford to be replacing fenders.
The guy I get tires from ordered me a set of 235/85s today. said he would give my a 50.00 credit for my factory tricycle tires.

Larry,

Congrats on the new truck. You'll love the dually! Nice color too ;)
I'm running 255/85's with spacers and I also installed the leveling cams from Hill.
