Rough Shutdown?

I find my truck has a noticable rumble or shake when I shut it down. The condition is the same with or without juice. Any ideas on what can be causing this? Is it a normal condition? 200 left on 36000 mile warranty. Thanks.

Normal for a Diesel. The Duramax, as well as most V-8's, are the lesser. Big inlines are the worse. The larger engines in OTR tractors will rock the frame for a couple seconds after shutdown, and you can hear the crank rocking several times after it has come to a stop. It's the compression. Higher volume, more "roughness".
