EP309 LIFT PUMP LEAD POLARITY

Can anyone tell me the polarity of the brown and black leads connected to the EP309? The connector at the end of the leads is marked "A" for the black lead and "B" for the brown lead. My first thought is that the black lead would be ground but that is just a guess.

I seem to remember there was a "+" mark next to one of the wires on my EP158 (which is similar to the EP309) pump housing indicating polarity. I'll take a look when I get home from work to confirm.

I checked my EP158 and there is a "+" mark on the pump housing next to the Gray (+12V positive) wire. The other wire is Black (ground).
