Finally decided to make the big jump to a DMax. :D

Equipment is decided on but not sure if I should show preference to one engine over the other when looking at 2004's.

Also, it is possible for me to wait for the 05's to come out, should I wait?

Any help / opinions appreciated.

Unless you are going to lose a lot of rebates, I would definately wait on the 05.

I really like the LB7. Looking at the LLY, but may hold for 2005 model...

If I were to purchase a new truck right now, I would wait for the 2005 also. Manufactures always make small tweaks in the Hardware and Software aspects of the vehicle between model years. Since the LLY was a mid-year introduction (2004), I would think there would be a batch of changes to be made (particularly in the programming area). Just my opinion.

Most of the tweaking apears to be emmisions related. I think the 05 will have some of this worked out. And the power bulge hood is susposed to be back.
