I know several people have made contact at Racor regarding the new fuel filter for the LLY and LB7. I was wanting to contact someone from Racor and get the following info from them...
Why is the new filter better? What has improved?
And finally something that says they are the OE supplier and the only maker of the fuel filter for our trucks.(Even under different labels)
On rare occasions I have a local shop install my supplied fuel filter for me. They always seem to question the brand, Racor. I explain that they are all the same, regardless of label, and only made by one company. I get odd looks from them. I would just like to have something from Racor stating the above info. Just trying to share some of the knowledge learned here. Might save someone else some grief later.
So, any one at Racor I can email? They can PM me as well.
