"FORGOT TO PRIME"

Dummy has a fuel filter on the frame rail & it works just fine. After changing this filter I did not prime it with the OEM primer as I have done in the past. The engine started & died after about 30 seconds. So I primed it & got all the air out, but it will not start. Now what do I do? Thanks in advance. John

After bleeding the air from the OEM filter did you try pumping the primer until it's "hard"?.
