My Average Fuel Cost For 2005

While getting things ready for my tax account I decided to see what my average fuel cost pre gallon was for 2005.

Low as $1.96 per gallon
High was $3.00 per gallon
Over all average on 2100 gallon was $2.30

In 2000 we were buying diesel in Indiana for $.78 a gallon and when I went to the NW that summer I had to pay $1.43 a gallon and really got upset because that was the first time I ever put more than $50 in the tank. I sure won't mide a $1.43 now.

Yes, I remember 79 cents a gallon diesel when gasoline was going for 89 so I deceided to buy a diesel. UMM HUMMM.

I guess if I mentioned .19 cents a gallon, I'd be showing my age! :D And I do remember that. ;) $2.549 here in town now, but will fill up in Virginia Sunday night on our return trip @ $2.279. I sure do like that 98 gallon "Transfer Flow" aux tank. It may pay for itself yet. smile.gif
