well, she was smoking at idle and i took her in to get the injectors looked at. No codes found. Updated the PCM. Completed diesel efi work sheet. Found #1 and #5 cylinder injectors bad. Removed and replaced injector and reassembled. Balancer rates ok, now at .1 was 12.3 and 11.5. No surge detected. Vehicle released to customer.

Also had mirror clutches adjusted to work in cold weather.

next 05 should be delievered in two weeks, fingers are crossed.

How many miles were on the truck when you noticed a problem? How do you drive it (towing, commuting, short trips, ect.)? Are there any performance mods?

noticed smoke after 5k miles, only smoked at stop when in gear, trailor 10% time, pulling 15-18k lbs sand. truck has 20k miles now and runs great. Looking for next purchase already. :D
