I've had the muffler of for a about a month and just decided to add a little more power under the hood. I pull all the time. Mostly with a 30 foot flat bed. I've had the predator set on the 40 and 60 horsepower and in both of them the service engine light has come on 3 times. And the reason is that a senser I geuss is picking up that the turbo is putting out to much boost. The only reason I can see that its got to much boost is that there is no back pressure from the muffler.

And I'll bet that you have a 2001 model.

That or an old fuel filter...

Actually, his order states a 2002. Hmmm, I'd be willing to say it's the fuel filter then, but there is also a possibility that he just selected that year by mistake even though the unit is the same.

Jared, please let me know if you have an 01 or 02. Reply here or email me on sales@runninwiththedevil.com

Sincerely...

I have 2002 and the fuel filter was changed back in November with about 8000 miles on this filter. The truck was built in October of 2001.

What issues are there with the '01?
I have an '01 3500 with ZF 6 and was very interested in this unit. Do you ship to Canada? Better idea is you need someone to test it here :D

jared, if you would not mind, shoot me over your contact #, as myself and Johan at DiabloSport would like to discuss your situation personally with you.

HotShot, I do ship to Canada, and will ship it using the shipper of your choice, but most in Canada prefer USPS ;)

Sincerely...

I have to bet its the infamous P0236. Mine sets it also with the Predator. No biggy, it does nothing but store in the pcm.. 03 models it wont kick a light, but will on 01 and 02...

This isn't just a GM issue. Certain Ford pcm calibrations will do this once you go out of the range of the tolerances of the pcm. A PMT2 in a Ford is less likely to trip the overboost and injector codes than a PMT3, so we normally always burn PMT2 calibrations on the chips we sell to PMT3 customers.
