I dropped the HD D/A to the dealer yeterday for various items:
Parking brake adjustment.
was adjusted
Tranny fluid under tranny.
k4250 gasket, transfer case to adapter replaced
and while in the supervisors office I asked about engine ticking, and clunk after a full stop in reverse(feels like brake releasing)
He stated that GM was aware of these problems, but has yet to come up with a solution. Even with code updates!!!
This guy is a topnotch service manager. I have dealt with him for 8 years now, and he has gone above and beyond for me, so I know I can trust him.
He knows they will bulletin a fix one day, and will call me with info.
