Snow Plowing with Crew Cab

[JB 2500HD CC]

I talked to the dealer and they told me that GM does not offer a plow prep package for the Crew cab diesels.
I was going to put a plow on my truck to do our lot here at work and not sure if this would hurt it or not?

If you have one, could you please let me know how it works, and if I need to do anything else to my truck?

Any suggestions on what plow to use? I was looking at a Western Plow?
