BROKE 100,000 MILES!

100,342 miles

Well the truck is 18 months old and finally broke 100,000 miles. Most of you know I had some engine problems that were all resolved under the manufactures warranty. So hopefully it runs with no more major problems. I think my truck qualifies as being broke in now. I'll post some pics I you like. Got one at 99,999 and 100,000 and 100,001. Not as fun watching the odometer roll over as it is digital. Well.....truck on men,.....and women. :D

Glad to hear all is well. What were your problems that you had with your truck. Also am interested how long you have had the juice and do you run the juice most of the time. Any info would be a great help. Thanks

Got 85ish on her right now myself. All is well.

I an injector pump and both head gaskets replaced and an injector on #1 cylinder. I have been juiced for about 20,000 miles. All problems were after the juice except the pump which was around 50K mark. Do a search on "low coolant".

I suppose I could check that in cab air filter eh. Never changed since I had it. Its gotta be pretty nasty by now. :eek:

Congrats. My 2001 is 18 months old but only 47,000 miles. Tell me again what precipitated your fuel pump replacement. I get nervous when the truck flares a bit when at low RPM or idle. Keep thinking maybe it's about to go.

I guess I would say it was cutting out under power real bad. Like a super bad fish bite would be another good description. Never had a lopey idle problem. Had it with the new pump but was fixed with a reflash.

Maverick, I remember reading about your head gasket issues and I am glad to hear all is well again. Good to hear there are no drivetrain issues as well... I would expect the DMax in general to hold up well over time (despite being a Cummins guy, the DMax is still a DIESEL). Keep us posted as the miles rack up, I hope to see a similar post when you hit 200,000 miles... and 300,000 miles, and so on ;)
