A-n-y-t-h-i-n-g would be better than a car dealer advertisement which can take on the many forms including badges, emblems, and my favorite "painted on" graphics. Don't even get me started on all the idiots that proudly display the car dealer license plate frames.
I think the emblem looks good on the working truck white (new 2003 color that replaces snow capped summit white) paint scheme.

i like the one we have better but i think this one looks good. i may put it on the tail gate and put " banks Power" logos were the dealer logo is.
That's the one they're using on the new C4500.

That's actually the old, old, old emblem that the early GMT800 test mules built in '98 and '99 had on them. The early GMT560's have also used them for several years, but I don't know if it will go into production with them, either.
Told the dealer NOT to put any dealer logo on my truck prior to picking it up. Had one on there anyway. So I ripped it off in front of salesman and handed it to him.
My feeling is that any of you folks that got f*ck8d by your dealer want to tear off their logo. Personally I display Buckles Motors in Urbana Ohio licence plate frame with pride and hope somebody will make inquiries of it so I can tell them of the good deal I got ($49 over invoice)I'd place a banner on the side of the camper shell just to **** off the rip off dealers around here. Hoot is correct. I even have pics of a C4500 with the emblem. I even have a pic of the EXCELLENT mirrors. This is what should be on my 3500. I will try to make a set fit.
Pics here:

Maverick,
Those mirrors would be above roof level on your truck, unless you do some serious mods.
I also like those mirrors we don't even have anything that nice on the buses I drive. The only problem I see with them is that they would contribute to a substantial blind spot. Although become problematic only when operating in the city. I'm sure you'll keep us posted with pics when you get that done. Stu

If I'd known you felt so strongly about dealer license plate frames I'd have taken them off before we met today :D :D . Seriously though they will come off when I find something to replace them with, but do you think anyone will notice them, with my pretty dual exhausts. :D Made it home about 6:15 and that was stopping for lunch. It was sure good to meet all of you guys, maybe the next time we do this there will be more of us. tpitt

Hoot, just looked at the mirrors alittle harder. You are right again. They would be pretty high. The arm of the mirror is "C" shaped like the GM camper and Lucerix mirrors. If you removed the piece that touches the truck (mounting pivit point) and replaced it with the GM camper mounts or the Lucerixs, it might fit on my 3500. Will have to see if I can lower the mirror head on the arm.

Isn't the "west coast" mirror still an option with the HD's? That would give you the taller mirror and more extension from the cab.

As far as from a factory ordered vehicle I believe the WC mirrors are only avaliable on a Cab & Chassis. I could order a set and install I guess. I like the more modern look.

I have one of those emblems in my possession. I got it by accident when I ordered the one for my tail gate and they sent me the wrong one. Did not look good on my Red truck but will look good on others..... I purchased it 8 months back.
Let me know if interested.....
