How do I contain myself? My new truck is built: 2003 Silverado 4x4, D/A, ExtCab, SB, "mav Summit White :D "

Apparently, Chevy/GM isn't exactly UPS? When the vehicle gets on the train they don't seem to know when they will arrive. Isn't it curious that UPS knows exactly the where and when of a $5.00 package, and Chevy doesn't know where their $40k trucks are?

Funny eh ! Yep, the dealer could not tell me where my $44,126 truck was for over a week ! Patience George, the fun will begin soon ! My 03 has already had 2 Juice boxes, a new set of tires and wheels, an oil change, door windows tinted to match the factory tint, and about 10 baths !

Could you fellas tell me what you paid for your trucks? I just ordered a "new" 03 SLT. The truck has two deletes.....no need for DVD or two alternators.. just one 145 amp will work. Other than those two, well... it's got everything.

-Thanks Burner

??? funny thing about "not" scanning the big stuff, like a truck!!

Welcome aboard AbqGeorge, you have purchased a great truck.

Burner,
my '03 Chevy crew cab swb Duramax listed for $43,706. The dealer sold it to me for invoice price, which was $4,703 less than that. I also took advantage of a $1000 rebate that GM had going at the time. And we had $1500 built up on our GM card that we cashed in.

So the final price for our $43,706 Chevy Duramax was actually $36,503. I thought that was pretty reasonable.

"digits" emailed! Thank you pontiac_m18

burner, I've ordered a fairly loaded "LS" trim version. Didn't want the trip computer, leather seats. I purchase my vehicles through a Credit Union buying service. It's not the best deal around: $750 over invoice, but they find out who's got allocations and handle everything. Getting what you want in about 9 weeks not too bad. It'll cost me another $175 to have a car hauler bring it up from Phoenix. "broker" might even be the hauler??
