LLY mileage down

my first 1500 miles - I took a 350 mile trip - Averaged 17-18 mpg

Now - 2600 miles combination pulling a 9k utility trailer & and empty around town, I'm not event breaking 10mpg .. My O1 would get a consistent 13mpg in the same scenario -

Any suggestions ? Is this normal ?

I averaged 20 mpg running at 60-75 mph with the AC on mostly hwy for my trip to northern maine. No trailer - just the fam and our stuff. Around town (not city) i'm getting 18.5 avg. I'm very happy with the truck.

This is my first go around with a diesel, and so far I love it. I have gotten consistent 17-18mpg with my LLY and a month ago, I drove to Delaware, barreling across Maryland at 80-85 mph and got 20 on that trip.
I recently added some 285/70-17s and haven't recalibrated for those, but I think I am still doing well. :D
