Has anybody had any luck with this?

This appears to be one of the better ways to adjust (increase) boost pressure. I may be experimenting with one before long on our Dmax hot-rod. Right now, I get a max of 23 psi, but need more....

I have one on my truck. I get 28.5 readout on my gauge. It's a pain to put in but it works great.
Using normal boost raising techniques (the same as a gas motor) you can raise the boost without a problem. My truck runs 35 psi and I could raise it more but have heard the limitation of the stock turbo is 40 psi, so I feel safe at 35. I would like to try the Banks unit and compare how it spools and feels at the same boost level that I am running now.

While I suspect a high EGT may have been a contributing factor, I've heard from two people over the past couple of years who had their turbo grenade at 39 psi.
34-35 seems to be doable, but the pressure maps indicate the turbo loses efficiency at an increasing rate above about ~25 psi. This means that exhaust backpressure follows boost pressure up to a point where it is efficient, then backpressure rises at a faster rate than boostpressure, when we reach the point of diminishing returns.

I have read somewhere that 32 was about the max you should go.
35.5 PSI on my truck. I have been running 30+ PSI for close to two years. You will neet 30+ PSI to make 500 HP on diesel alone.
The Banks wastegate seems to offer a much more stable gate modulation over the stocker.
