I know that you're supposed to pull various fuses to disable the Onstar to prevent it receiving something while reflashing the ecm. But I cancelled my subscription after the initial year, so I'm just curious if I still need to pull the fuses when re-flashing.

the one time I forgot to pull fuses I cooked an ECM. May just have been a freak failure, but now when doing them I always do exactly as stated.
