I was boerd and cruising another site and came across somthing that doesnt sound right. A guy said that he was replacing a duramax due to a problem that he couldnt disclose.(dont understand that eathier) But said that he was getting a long block duramax for $14500.00!!!! Is that right?

That guy that posts at PUTC is a GM Tech, and I believe that what he has posted is factual information. I guess that truck must have been out of warrantee.

I don't know how much they would retail for but the warranty claims that I saw for complete engine changes including labor were between 10-12,000.00.

Is this guy from Canada? It could make sense if that were in Canadian dollars.

I was looking around on a salvage yard website, and complete engine pullouts were $7500-$8500.
With drivetrain included = $12,500-$14,000
