Splayed mains

Can anyone post a picture, up close and personal, of a splayed main? Trying to figure out the difference between that, and a regular main.

Ahhhhhh. So it's not that the actual mains are splayed (couldn't quite figure how that would be possible), it's the angle at which the second pair of cap bolts are set which makes it "splayed"?

You got it. This is a very common practice in engines prepped for racing.
