Who's using Redline 15W40

What are your typical change intervals? Anyone done oil analysis using this oil? Good results?

Red Line 15w40 diesel oil-Red Line recommends 10-12000 miles or once a year which ever is shorter.
16-19000 km. I have not done any oil analysis, but from my previous experiences with there products, I probably won't.
Presently I changing the oil when the change oil light comes on approx. 13000 km. (warranty purpose) after warranty I'll probably go 18000 km with a filter change in the middle. To find out more go to redlineoil.com get there phone number and call their tech dept. called many times.

I get the oil from my parents through a warehouse we buy from. I'll have to work a price out. Where about in Ontario are you

We used the Redline oil and our D/A's started using a qt every 1200mi. We went back to Delvac1 and don't use any between 5-6000mi intervals.

how many miles were on the engine when added.
If the engine is not well broke in the rings will not seat.
With 13000km oil change intervals never have to add oil-always on full

I am a user of Redline 15W-40 Oil. I have used it since 12K miles. I broke it in on standard diesel motor oil then switched. I change it every 10-11K miles with a filter change every 5K. I have not nor will not analyze my oil. Although there maybe benefits but this is to much work for something that should be a daily driver.
As for oil burning, I have not experienced any oil burning and have not since I started using it. I lose some out of the vent tube but that amounts to 1/4 of a qt over 10K miles...Maybe. I have yet to add any oil over a 10-11K mile interval. I always pre-fill my oil filter before adding and then recheck after running motor.. I get it for $5.95 a qt. I have 46K miles and I really use my truck hard. Matter of fact I just towed race car trailer to Las Vegas. I was clocking 75-80 MPH the entire way except over the Tehachapi Pass out of Bakersfield.

I had to go back and check the maintenance log to get the milage. 186,300mi-191,850mi-197,371mi.
Added 2qts on first change and 1qt second change and the truck was down 1 1/2qts at change.Whent back to Delvac 1 and truck consumed less than
1/3qt at 203,812mi change.By looking at the log it seem the truck never used over a 1/2qt of oil except during those two intervals.

I'm about 280kms east of you. I'd be very interested in you working out a price. I've checked around more local to me and the cost was very prohibitive. Otherwise, I'll have to mail-order...

I would even pick it up and/or purchase a larger quantity. I've decided to go with the 15W40 for sure so it's just a matter of obtaining it for a fair price.
