rear main seal and camshaft plug replacement

I am about to replace the two seals and was wondering if anyone has some advice on the easiest ways and tricks. should be recieving the R&R guide from the diesel page so that should help. But any info. will help.

Get or borrow rear main seal installer, it has to go in square. I borrowed 1 from a Mr Goodwrench. It's to much work to do it wrong.

Where do you rent one time use (hopefully)tools from??? I am looking for GM tool number J39084 rear main seal instalation tool. Autozone did not have this tool. Any other do it yourself places rent tools?

It looks like it bolts to the rear of the crank and has a press like mechanism or reverse gear puller to seat the seal gently and squarely.

Whats the best seal. Fel-pro, Rol, AC-Delco ???? I know its GM and going to leak again but what'll last the longest.
