That's right kids, the two wheel drive crew has hit the 11's. This has been a long road getting there and I have to send a huge thanks to my family and friends who helped me get there. Thanks John Kennedy for believing that we could get the 2WD diesel pig into the 11s and for all the tweaks to make it happen. The Suncoast V did exactly what I wanted, the new Velocity converter really runs sweet. I gotta give a shout out to David Dunbar for all the dyno tuning over the last few years to dial the truck in right.

The SEMC track day was great. The weather was perfect and the track was running really well. There were 8 and 9 second Grand Nationals tearing it up there today too.

WOW!! :D Brandon, into the 11's, thats great. Awsome video as well, very professional presentation. Not to tell my age, but I remember when "Big Daddy" Don, in his "Swamp Rat" broke into the 10's. Hard to believe a 2 wheel drive 4 door pick up, burnin' oil and some other stuff  can get up and go like that.
Congratulations, keep up the great work. ;)

"Eleven ninety two", he said. Congrads Brandon. Listening to the audio, the announcer was at first surprised you were staying with the T type and then he even got excieted when you won the race and went into the 11's. Great driving.

Hey Tanker you remebered Big Daddy getting into the 10's. A few years back one of my racing buddies brought me a paper published by a University of Michican professsor who had furnished calculations to prove that it was impossible for a car to run a 10 second quater mile and I think that was written in 1950. We've come a long way since then.

Looks like Duramax can haul a payload and haul ass at the same time.
OK John lets see you put down a number before the year is out and it gets too cold up there, don't leave Brandon alone in the 11's.

Yeah, but you have ancient diesel secret, I just grasshoppah. :D

You also carry more weight, so must make mo powah then 2WD diesel pig... tongue.gif

In all seriousness though, you were turning the same numbers at the track as I was if not better at Weekend on the Edge. You could have that truck in the 11's if you get at it before the snow flies heavy!

John will wait until the snow flies! :D The snow flakes are injested into the turbo, then they spin around prior to entering the combustion chamber, causing steam  which causes all h-ll to break loose. Result, More Power! :D
Sorry Brandon, no snow in Georgia this year. Ha!
;) ;)
