I'm not sure what I'm looking at.What percentage of slip should I be seeing? When should the torque converter show locked? Seems that the only lock up is in 5th gear. Is this right? What do they mean by defuel at locked shifts if it doesn't lock until 5th. Don't know much about trannys as you can tell. Can someone please explain? thanks

It is an 03 and doesn't show lockup utill after its in 5th.It just shows prcentage of slip through all shifts untill 5th then will show lockup around 55mph steady cruise. Is ther something wrong with my tranny. It does the same thing no matter what setting on the attitude I'm in.

Nothing wrong with your truck. It is just showing the slipage due to the torque converter not being locked up. Change on of the guages on your attitude to show coverter lock up and you will see that whenever the converter is not locked up it will show slipage. Mine is an 03 and it does the exact same thing that you are describing. Also if you put it in tow/haul mode you will see the converter lock up through all the higher gears.

Whats wrong with sleeping with a moose? It must be something in the beer from up there? Everytime I drink too much of the stuff, the next morning I end up with a really bad head ache and a moose in my bed. :D tongue.gif
