Has anyone had any experience with using the Shell Rotella DFA??? Getting other additives here is hard or very expensive. I'd rather not pay shipping on case quantities of additives if I can get a product locally that is going to do the job. Sam's Club is selling the Rotella by the case at a resonable price.

Larry, have you tried Flying J or any other large truck stop? I pick up my fuel additive at Flying J. In general, I have found their truck stop to be very user friendly. They have a separate island for RVs. That is handy when towing.
General opinion I got from the forum is that we should NOT use an additive containing alcohol. The additive I use is non-alcohol and I add one oz. per eight gallons of fuel at each fill-up.
I have no information on the Shell Rotella DFA.

This is a very strange area of the country I live in. Even with the 3rd largest port in the USA in town and the related truck traffic it generates, I have to go almost 100 miles out the Interstate before I reach a truck stop. None of the stops in our area cater to RV type rigs. Some have diesel pumps at the regular island but if your towing a trailer forget about using them, so you need to pull in with the big boys and use the high speed pumps.
As far as supplies in the truck stop all I've found is the Power Service brand additive at top dollar prices.
Here are some links about the Shell DFA:
