Sounds like the Kennedy combo on Sdaver's truck took top honors of the day...

From what I gathered, Sdaver did 47x on #2 and 50x with propane.

Word is Mackin ran 46x on #2 and 48x with propane.

3rd and 4th as I understand was a tossup between Ratdoc and Tony in the 43x range.

Nice to see a "conservative" dyno for a change...

Ok, we got numbers! I won't go into it all but Mackin is #2.......(rib, rib, rib, rib) :D

Looking for that "all of it" post.

Beat'in yes but hardly .... ;)

On the Unlimited Motorsports dyno I blasted a 481/860 on all #2 ....Daver had put down a 48? .... On J&M Motorsports I put down a 465/838 to Davers 476/??? I don't have the torque # ....

Daver should have showed up with his 245's .... Guess we should have just tightened our propane valves ,and bounced these baby's down route 5 and seen ,What's Up !!!!

Quadzilla 215 stack with Comp OJ .....

Quadzilla 215 stack with Comp OJ .....

That's a good combo. It's worth 12.79 - 12.80 @ 103.XX on my truck on #2.

Did the driver of each truck have to show a valid driver's license, or did they just kinda gloss over that just in case somebody was suspended? ;) :D

Mac - what ended up being the solution with the propane on your rig? How much more hp did you see out of it at those levels?

Regards, Steve

IMHO, the J&M dyno numbers are much more realistic. The stock baseline numbers are right in there with what I expect to see...

These Dyno's were twins .... People actually understand now how things can differ just driving 10 mins and 10 miles away, some learned this for the first time... Nevertheless all good numbers for a healthy stack, on the street, it's viscous with a tranny, without useless in time no doubt ... That's a tranny destroyer fur sure .... I had to stop and reconnect my wastegate as I was barking accelerating and deaccelerating, inaddition the speed limiter defuel comes mighty quick ....

Mackin, Speed delimiter defuel. What happens when you hit? Is it like the regular defuel?

mackin

Feels just like it POPS out of gear like a zing ... I was in the coals pretty good when it happened .... My passenger and I looked at each other like WTF was that ?? Then it dawn'd on me ...Just felt a little harsh, prolly because of the power level I was running ...

Mac :D :D :D

Is there a way to avoid it? or do you just have to watch the tack and ease off? You don't have any defuel at all other than this?

I have very little defueling between shifts ,now ....

Mackin I was thinking rev limiter, not speed limiter. I was the one who wasn't thinking right. Understand now....it just quits don't it.

Burner, the bottom line is-
Sdaver went up there and put a good old fashion whuppin on some yankees and their trucks
- and on their OWN TURF to top it off!

It don't get no better than that. (Oh God am I in Trouble)
:D :D :D
Peace boys. Peace.

First of all it was great to put faces with all of these characters (well most of them :D ). Every one was great and could not have been nicer. Steve O and the Dipper(George) were great to travel with. Here is a composite graph of my best dyno runs each of which were run twice and matched back to back. The runs were on J&M Motorsport Dynojet Chasis Dyno. The runs were made and the SAE correction factors were applied. Dynojet offers several different correction factors with the SAE being one of the most conservative

CF propane hp propane trq no2 hp no2 trq

none 525.25 890.99 496.68 841.08
standard 518.52 879.03 490.97 831.41
SAE 503.30 853.23 476.68 807.21
DIN 521.25 883.66 493.52 835.73
JIS 504.56 855.36 477.88 809.23
EEC 503.01 852.74 476.41 852.74

The numbers that I made at Unlimited motorsports were 527.5 hp and 914.3 trq propane/stack and 488.2hp and 860.8 trq on No 2 These were graphed with a standard correction factor if they were corrected with the SAE as the graph above the numbers would be very similar. Corrected they are 512.34 hp and 889.13 trq propane stack and 474.75 hp and 837.11 trq on No 2. Mack this is the reason our numbers were lower at J&M as compared to Unlimited. Mike @ J&M uses a more conservative correction factor. Your corrected Unlimited Motorsports numbers to SAE would be 467.66 hp and 837.11 trq. As you all can see here there is several ways to skin a cat.....I'm gonna stick with the conservative side ...dave

On the graphs, what were the refresh rates?
(They might call it "over sampling" or something... don't know.) Who used graph filters....or were they the same? What kinds of Dyno's were they, what model?

-- Did anyone test the Juice in "CA" (no 5?)setting? I wonder how much less power that "setting" produces? I'd like to see the curve. smile.gif

Did anyone cut the timming loop out of the Juice and run the Quadd or just stack?

Quadzilla's truck did a 64x number this past weekend.
