I have sold many dual remote systems to Duramax owners. You are in luck because they now have available the BMK-17 which is specifically for the Dmax. Also many guys here that are Amsoil bumper to bumper. I am sure someone will post.

Hey Greg, is the one your sending to me in Colo.the BMK 17????

John
What you are getting is the air filter. The BMK-17 is for oil filtration.
Greg
whats the difference between the bmk 17 and the
other bypass kits?

The BMK-17 is designed specifically for the Duramax. The adapter screws on to the OEM filter mount with two hoses running to the remote filters.

The only difference between the BMK-13 that was used on the Duramax and the BMK-17, is the adapter is one piece instead of two and its a little bite heavier duty. Plus the BMK-17 kit includes the SDF-26 and BE-100 filters. The BMK-13 you had to buy everything seprate. The BMK-17 price is the same as the BMK-13 and filters.

Your question does anyone run amsoil thoughout, for what it' worth, here's what I run the stuff in:
2002 Duramax - 5w30 HD (engine), 75w90 (Diff), synthetic moly grease for chassis lube. Transynd transmission fluid for now. SDF 52 oil filter, soon to go to the BMK-17.
2001 Kubota 3010HST b/h fel - 5w30 (engine), Amsoil grease, Amsoil filter not made for this model, plan to go to a bypass system on the oil when I can figure out a safe place to mount it. Amsoil hydraulic when change time comes. Also, Evans waterless coolant.
John Deere garden tractor, Stihl: saw, blower, trimmer.
My motto is to buy good stuff and run good stuff in it. Cheaper in the long run.
MHO ! ;)
I am running Amsoil front to back in my Dmax, also use the Amsoil Dual Remote oil filter.
Must be working O.K. from the looks of my oil analysis, I posted those results on a thread of the same name yesterday. I also use an Amsoil Air Filter. I made a bracket and mounted the oil filter to the frame about 4 1/2 feet behind the OEM location.

You can mount the system up to 4 feet awat with the hose that comes with it. I recommend mounting it as close to the stock filter as possible.
