Block heater

I know this is a depressing thought but I have pretty much camped for the last time this summer.
It made me think about the problem of last winter when some of us use the block heater and it turns on the SES light. Have any of those problems been resolved? My truck is going in for some warranty related items and sure would like to get that little problem fixed as well.Stu

Great meeting up with you this last weekend. I'm assuming you had as much fun as I did on the river...

I used the block heater almost every morning this last winter and I never had an SES code. My truck was manufactured +- 12/28/01. All I've ever has SES codes for was the fuel cap not being screwed on well !
