Went on a 1300 mile trip, Duramax and Enclosed trailer..I will weigh the setup later today..My guess will be 10,000 lbs..total Truck and trailer,loaded..Yes, I know it is a small load compared to most..
we went to the Blue Ridge Mountains,Suches GA..To the TWO (Two Wheels Only-Deals Gap) camp resort to ride the curves around there..
truck performed flawless..the mountain roads made the tow-haul feature work alot slowing the truck down those roads on RT60..It even downshifted to the redline once..No problems what so ever..
What I did learn: A aux tank is a must..15 mpg..,CB is a must and the cloth seats are more comfortable than the leather..I better rotate my tires after all those curves..
Jerry dumped his bike on Rt 129, 100 miles from home base..We patched it up and he rode back to the camp 100 miles..Bike is totaled, his pride,right leg and hip are bruised..He will be fine.. smile.gif
