change order form ZF to ALLI??????

I am tired of waiting on a 6 speed transmission, and I do not like the difficulities when tring to chip a ZF equiped truck. What advantages would I have with an Allison? What kind of disadvantages? I am thinking about changing my order on Monday 6/21/04, Or as soon as possible

I have been waiting since 1/30/04 when I first ordered my truck.

The LLY when backed with a ZF remains at the LB7 power rating of 300/520. So, you get more power with an Allison.

Generally, an auto equipped Dmax truck could be easier to sell or trade, when the time comes.
