Most fuel filters I have seen are mounted hanging vertically from or sitting vertically above the filter base. Is there a good reason why a fuel filter can not be horizontal or at some angle between vertical to horizontal?? Perhaps George M. or a filter company rep might explain why horizontal or something less will or will not work. I have seen applications w/ fuel filters mounted off vertical say 15-20 degrees toward horizontal. Thanks . bob...
