When GM replaces injectors on the 01 and 02 models, are they using the same style injector, which will again fail, or are they different?

No matter what sort of injector failure owners might see, you should get the most current LB7 injector at a current or future repair.

I was told some time ago that all warranty injectors pulled by dealers were returned to Bosch. And, Bosch had not entered into any sort of arrangement with any remanufacturing facility to return these injectors to service.

I wasn't sure what to make of that info... Except that it could be a long while yet before the reman market brings prices down for out of warranty injector service.
