I am about to take delivery of a new 2500HD crew cab short box 4x4.
I was wondering if this truck will come with a factory installed fuel heater or will it be necessary to install an aftermarket one?
New to the diesel scene so bear with me.

Take a good look under the new one. Look for corrosion on transmission, transfer case, front axle. These trucks are assembled by school kids on their lunch hour!!!! The union at Flint Quality controls them so your in good hands. These trucks are being assembled with road salt all over components aquired before assembly. Good luck.
I was thinking the same thing. It must be the unions fault!! Couldn't be poor management. Has to be the union. We all know the Union makes management just sit back and take whatever they can get out of these school children. You never know when the Union might step in and fire a manager for keeping these trucks up to GM standards. Bad union, shame on you!!
