Hi,
I have a 2003 2500HD D/A with 66,000 miles, not a single problem with the engine or tranny. Yesterday while turning a corner the engine bucked about three times and the check engine light came on. I have a programer that will read DTCs and it indicated that code "P1093" has been written. Does anybody know what that code indicates?

Thanks

Low rail pressure. Do a search on shimming the bypass valve (and change your fuel filter)...T

LB7 is different than the LLY as for shimming. I'd look at the filter first...

Being a 2003, it could well have injector issues also. These seem to deliver excessive return rates when in fail mode which drops psi excessively.

Check filter first of course...

Thanks for the info, I'll be changing the FF as soon as I get the Mega Filter kit from John. :D
