OK, I know the purpose of the crankcase blow-by tube on the passenger front of the engine.
Question: Why did they make it so short? All it does is dump oil vapor/film all over the wires and lower part of the engine. I have searched here and found that some have extended the tube by using a short heater hose and securing it onto the skid plate.
Is there another solution? Doesn't the Cummins have a bottle that is used for the same purpose? Has anyone come up with something better for the DMAX?
