Does the LLY use the same oil filter as the LB7, Fram 9100?
Also, any suggestions on what type of rear differential and transfer case oil to use?

FRAM??
Just say NO to Fram!!
Or, as the good Dr. says, "Friends don't let friends use Fram."
Rear diff: 75-90 full synthetic (Mobil 1, Redline, Amsoil, etc). GM's "grape juice" is more than twice the price of any other brand, and has not been shown to be any better.
Same for the front. Synthetic in the front is not required, but recommended.
Transfer case: Dexron III or IV ATF. Synthetic is a plus.
You can do a search under this section and the drive train section and probably get your answers. There has been a lot of info on the poor quality of Fram for our engines. I'm sticking with AC Delco oil filters. There are several vendors on this site that sell quality filters and fluids and good prices. You should check them out.
As long as your fluids meet the requirements in your service manual you should be fine. The tranny and transfer case use Dex III. Some people have switched to Mobil 1 synthetic. The rear differential is also synthetic from the factory.
