Trucks on TNN -Duramax

Wow, that was neat. The show had a Duramax with big tires and a lift from Bullydog. They dynoed the truck on a dynojet. I think that I heard 196hp & 390ft lbs of torque for stock. After the "Bully Box" and propane they got to 440, I think. He added nitro on the last run and got 453 hp. :cool: However, he did mention that you "will" smoke the factory trans and that's why the truck they showed had a BeefeD trans. ;)


--- If someone tapes the show please chime in. I would like to see the dyno runs again. I just got off a Dynojet 248C and made and AVG (my guess) of 260 stock hp, corrected SAE. Actually on run 19 It said 270.11 hp and on run 12 it said 254.82.

Burner, I taped the show, stock hp was 194 according to them, might have to do with tire size? anyway let me know if you want a copy. Dave

Burner, I also have a copy of the video from when it aired the first time. Everyone thought that these #'s were a little low for the modifacitaions that the truck had.

thank you for the offer, I may take one of you up on that. I think that I should call the TV show to see what kind of dynojet they had. I was wondering if they had a "load" built into that dyno?

Anyone tell me what the shows name was, and if it reairing again? Had no idea it would be on. smile.gif

The nitrous would show much better #'s even without bigger injectors if the tranny would take it. Yes I know it had mods to the trans but it still won't take it.
