I took my truck in for a coolant leak and they diagnosed it with a leaky head gasket or a cracked head. They said it was covered under warranty but said that in order to do the work they were going to have to charge five hours of labor at $81 per hour to remove and replace my Ranch Hand front end replacement bumper. Is this normal and is there any recourse for this type of charge?

Speaking for myself, I cannot stand to work over those grille guards. They do make it much more difficult to work on, especially a large project like you mentioned. Take it off yourself before they begin service...

That is what I am going to do thanks for the input.

I don't have the frount bumper but the back one (@ 190 lbs) takes one beer and 20 mins tops if you are by yourself. OK sneak in a couple more beers and call it an hour ;)
