...or your 'Haul Ass Quotient' ?
To calculate, simply divide your trucks total MILEAGE by the ENGINE HOURS. This is your 'HAQ'!
Mine are: 45.7 on 2005 K2500HD - Duramax
32.5 on 2003 K3500 - 6.0 gas
Who has the highest? Lowest?

Mine is 34.1, but only had the truck since June, so it should be on the increase since I drive it like I stole it most of the time. H.A.Q.-I love it!
22,800 in 530.1 hrs for HAQ of 43 on my 3500. If I did not have my remote start it would be higher, but I prefer to start the truck and warm up a bit.
The trips to MT and UT really boosted my numbers. Someone will be getting a VERY nice truck when I sell it!

42.4 over 45700 miles and 1076 hrs. Have had the truck 16 months.

kenny smile.gif www.auto-d.com (http://www.auto-d.com) did the install. DEI Viper LED. This one has been flawless. The one in my 02 (my own install) has been so-so with occasional Passlock issues so I leave the install to the pros...

Mixed driving on Vancouver island after my first 3500 miles I'm at 33.1 - we got a lot of corners and traffic lights, eh!!
36.6 out of ~10,500 miles
The truck is my daily commute vehicle besides trailer puller.

28.4 =44,200 not very good. never leave it idling, go figure. Texas ( in country )

Mark, its droping really fast lately since fuel prices went through the roof, had to slow down a bunch already down to 47. You'll be ahead of me in a couple of weeks more of slow driving with deer season coming up and I didn't get to make my run to Colorado this past week that will bring the average way down. I don't idle the engine if I can help it. Only let it idle a minute or so on cool down, but on start ups its turn the key count to 4 fire it and drop it in gear as soon as the oil pressure gauge moves up, no time to waste gotta go.

In my younger days having had a street corvette that would snap your head back at 150MPH if you punched the acceletator hard and God only knows how fast it ran. I saw 7000rpm in top gear once and seemed like forever coasting before the speedometer came up out of the dash board from 160 and with my standard cursing speed of 135MPH for a year that I put 53,000 miles on it and outran 56 cars that year. Sorry to say I was quite a legend at the Texas Dept. of Public Safety so they told me and I won't elaborate on that story. They're cars were supposed to be faster, but.........nuff said.
I think its quite safe to say my H.A.Q. is in this day and time untouchable.
Besides if I were to get into a contest with you and won, I'd loose. Just think of the extra money I could spend pouring fuel into the truck and paying speeding tickets and I personally know I today could not touch my H.A.Q. of days past, so Have fun enjoy your truck and most of all be safe. I will watch the hour meter and I'll let you know when your ahead on this one.
At one time I was below 25, now a bit below 30! No where to drive fast in the city! And even if you get on the interstate around here, you limited to 60MPH, and with traffic, about 20-30 if you are lucky! Faster on the side streets!

I am right there with JK, 62,425 miles , 1432 hrs = 43.59 mph ... this truck is slightly slower then my 01 when it was traded , it was almost 49 mph ! Snowmobile season is just around the corner , weekends it see around 300~600 mile of highway use towing 5800 lbs even if its snowing! :eek:
Well I have 10545 mile on the truck since June 6th. The engine has 260 hours. Makes the HAQ = 40.56.
