lly D/A fuel milage

You guys that have the new lly are lucky. What kind of milage are you getting with you D/A?

15 or so truck only
10-12 depending on head winds towing my 5000 lb enclosed trailer. All mph is around town, very little over the road towing. Truck only has 1800 miles on it, and has a utility body on it, with tools that weighs in at 8500# all the time.

Disappointed: 15-16 empty, 10 towing 9k 5000 miles. My 01 D/A seemed much better. Any thing I can do to improve milage? Sure like the performance.

I'm getting 18 back and forth to work. On the hiway I get 21 if I keep it under 70 mph. Both of those are empty. 4,000 on the truck now and it seems to be still improving. Can't imagine that it would get better than it is now. Havn't towed any distance to speak of yet, so don't have any towing numbers. I'm happy smile.gif .

I am getting 18 with a mix of highway and local driving. I have K2500HD ext cab SB with 6 sp ZF.
