Plan to install Racor 660 with 10 micron filter before oem. Do I need a air bleed attachment? Do they make one? If not how does one change filer without getting fuel all over and air in system? Sorry to be so ignorant about this stuff. You guys have made me love my D/A instead of fearing it, much appreciated.
No airbleed needed. You can fill the filter up with diesel before replacement. If you don't have that convenience you can use the Primer Pump up at the stock filter.
Why use the 10 micron? I have the 2 micron and I have no problems hitting the 12k recomended change interval plus get the added filtration.
